I know I haven’t posted a lot lately. Many of you may know that I am the the sister of the ever popular Ucreate creator, Kari and have been busily taking over Ucreate with Kids. It’s a seriously awesome adventure. But rest assured I have been creating some vinyl crafts for some super holiday gifts.

This is the easiest project ever. It took me about half an hour...seriously!
The wood plaque is 9x7. I Mod Podged pink paper to it and applied the vinyl bunny.

I think I will make another one facing the other way and display it next to this one.

You can put this kit on wood blocks, a nicely painted board, your bathroom mirror...where ever you'd like. I found these frames at Target for $2.50...for the set! (The frames hold a 3.5 X 3.5 inch picture.) I applied the vinyl on the front and inserted scrapbook paper as the background. You could even add pictures! These were so easy!

I am so excited to introduce this new kit. You will absolutely love it.
My sister-in-law is the Young Women's President in her ward and asked me if there was a way to put the 2010 mutual theme (Joshua 1:9) on a mirror for her girls at New Beginnings. After a trip to the dollar store and hours on the computer this is the end result:

This is a 5x7 picture frame (plastic frame). I cut the vinyl applied it to the glass and secured it to the back of the frame with hot glue. Hang it on the wall and...viola...a beautiful daily reminder to be strong and courageous because the Lord is with you.

This is an 8.5x8.5 mirror I found with the hair bows at the dollar store. It's just the right size mirror. The vinyl on it is about 7x7 inches squared. Apply the vinyl sticker to the clean and dust-free surface.
Peel off the sticker backing and place vinyl on desired surface. Starting from the middle of your design press down and smooth outward.
Press down and rub each letter or design with your fingers or a credit card (or something like it) so that it will transfer to the surface. Peel the sticker transfer paper back (not up) making sure your design stays put. Once you've applied your vinyl you can use your finger to press the letters/design down to make sure it’s secure and there are no bubbles.

I got my charger at Hobby Lobby, but I have since found chargers in hard to find colors, like PURPLE (my favorite) at Target and Big Lots in packs of four.

Vinyl Temple Kit for 12x12 tile: $9.50

This is a typical 12x12 ceramic tile. I was surprised at how well the vinyl went on this...once I cleaned the tile. :)

the birth of i.show.off

Isn't this plate adorable! I made it for a Relief Society meeting (Enrichment) and everyone loved it. Then my sister over at UCreate saw it and had to post it...as well as get one for herself. From there I have had numerous questions on how someone can buy one. I have received so many orders that I had to come up with a better way to showcase my little vinyl/craft creations.

Thus, i.show.off was born.

Why "i.show.off" as the name? I know some people {in my family} who think blogging is just a way of showing off. So, here I am showing off. :) The name fits huh?

I hope you enjoy the crafts, vinyl kits and tutorials I have created for my own little corner of the Utahan Wasatch Front. I am happy to entertain questions and read all your wonderful comments.
